Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL is seeking a Staff RN-Cardiovascular to deliver perioperative care in the Main OR and Cardiovascular OR. You will coordinate with the surgeon and anesthesiologist and guide OR staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

The role requires perioperative and CV OR experience, a current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and participation in on-call rotations. Full-time day shifts available with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year perioperative experience or on-the-job training.
• One year Cardiovascular OR experience required.
• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• ACLS (AHA) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care in the perioperative setting.
• Coordinate care with the surgeon and anesthesiologist.
• Direct and guide the OR Technician and other personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities and unit meetings.
