Job summary

Adventist HealthCare's Shady Grove Medical Center seeks an experienced Perioperative Associate for the Operating Room to support patient transport, supply management, and room turnover. You will stock and monitor OR supplies, perform hourly rounds, retrieve equipment for surgical cases, and maintain organized OR beds and clear hallways.

The role requires effective communication, English fluency, basic computer skills, and CPR.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated communication, organization & critical thinking skills.
• Able to speak and write English fluently.
• Fundamental computer skills and keyboard familiarity.
• Has knowledge of medical equipment to administer patient care.
• Has knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
• High School Diploma.
• 1-2 years of experience in the EVS setting; 1 year experience in a surgical services setting preferred.
