Job summary

Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Customer Support Rep II for our Guest Services Department in Rockville, MD. You will greet patients, visitors, and staff, issue badges, provide directions, escort visitors and assist with wheelchairs, and deliver information with professionalism.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting dissatisfaction, proposing action plans, and adapting support to diverse needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2+ years medical office or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, visitors, and staff promptly and professionally.
• Prepare visitors’ badges and provide directions as needed.
• Escort visitors and provide wheelchair assistance throughout the hospital.
• Provide internal and external information and maintain an orderly lobby.
• Troubleshoot visitor/patient dissatisfaction and suggest improvements.
• Identify needs of visitor/patient population and adapt assistance accordingly.
• Maintain supplies (wheelchairs, masks, hand sanitizers) in the lobby.
