Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Perioperative Support Technologist to assist anesthesiologists in all departments, expedite patient flow, and maintain safety in the perioperative area at Swedish First Hill in Seattle.

The role includes equipment setup and maintenance, patient monitoring, and participation in on-call rotations at night, weekends, and holidays. Washington-based medical/phlebotomy certification and BLS are required on hire.

Qualifications

• Coursework/Training in medical or science-based discipline.
• Within 90 days: Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Anesthesiologist in all anesthesia procedures and perioperative care.
• Set up, operate and maintain specialized anesthesia equipment.
• Monitor patients during the perioperative phase and ensure safety.
• Assist in sterile or isolation areas and participate in call rotation for PST.
