Qualifications

• Graduation from a surgical technology program or combination of education and related work experience.
• Washington Surgical Technologist Registration upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• Certified Surgical Technologist upon hire.
• Experience as surgical technologist in an acute care facility.

Responsibilities

• Participate as a member of the perioperative nursing team under RN guidance.
• Perform indirect perioperative tasks for various age groups during surgical/endoscopy procedures.
• Transport patients, second assisting, and act as a technical expert for the surgical service.
