Job summary

Baptist Health Care in Pensacola, FL, is seeking an Anesthesia Aide to assist licensed anesthesia providers with equipment prep and patient monitoring devices before, during, and after anesthesia. You will support complex surgical cases and help maintain anesthesia delivery systems in the OR.

Responsibilities include assisting with regional blocks, sterilizing equipment, organizing supplies, and coordinating with OR staff, CRNAs, anesthesiologists, and repair personnel to ensure smooth case flow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1-3 years anesthesia aide/tech experience or related field required.
• LPN, Paramedic, or EMT license in lieu of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with getting patients ready for general or regional anesthesia and supports anesthesia clinicians with monitoring catheters.
• Maintains anesthesia equipment, repair logs, and an equipment database.
• Cleans, sterilizes, and prepares anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Assists with regional anesthesia blocks and maintaining regional anesthesia logs.
• Transports medications, blood products, and equipment as needed.
• Orders, stocks, and sets up equipment in all ORs and coordinates with staff.
