Job summary

42NDC in New Haven, CT seeks a Part-Time Periodontal Dental Assistant to support dentists, coordinate between patients and staff, and assist in delivering quality dental care. The role includes travel among locations with mileage reimbursement.

The schedule targets First, Third, and Fifth Tuesdays. Responsibilities include chairside assistance, radiographs, patient education, and maintaining infection control standards across sites.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation to travel between locations
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• C.D.A. preferred
• Possess required certifications, licensure or registration as required by state
• Embrace a positive team approach to patient care

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment
• Chairside assisting during a variety of dental procedures
• Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures
• Provide post operative instructions and patient education
• Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
• Maintain strict compliance to infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA
• Maintain dental supply inventory
• Perform other related job duties as assigned

Hourly Rate

$35 - $38 USD
