Job summary

AdventHealth Tampa is seeking an experienced Perinatal ultrasound technologist to provide high-quality obstetric imaging and patient-centric care in a full-time daytime role. RDMS is required with 3+ years in obstetric/perinatal sonography and 1+ year in Maternal Fetal Medicine settings. Travel to nearby Tampa-area locations may be needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Associate degree required.
• 3+ years in obstetric or perinatal sonography.
• 1+ year in Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.
• Assesses the patient’s physical condition and age specific needs.
• Provides instructions that achieve patient cooperation and desired results.
• Acquires patient’s clinical history and provide accurate documentation for invasive procedures.
• Documents patient weight, blood pressure and other pertinent information depending on patient status.
• Assesses sonographic images for technical quality, proper annotation, and patient identification, ensuring that all relative anatomy is demonstrated.
• Other duties as assigned.
