Job summary

Trinity Health Livonia is seeking a Diagnostic Perinatology Sonographer to perform complex sonographic procedures under the direction of a Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician. This part-time, day-shift role requires independent technical judgment and expertise in ultrasound-based diagnosis.

Qualifications

• High school graduation of equivalent.
• Satisfactory completion of an ultrasound program or similar training to meet qualifications for registration.
• Required to have RDMS credentials and updated BLS.

Responsibilities

• Performs sonographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail; uses ultrasound for diagnosis.
• Complete exams of abdominal, pelvic, transvaginal.
• Targeted fetal anatomy surveys with detailed evaluation of fetal brain, spine, heart and limbs.
