Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic’s St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA, is seeking an Ultrasound Tech for the Perinatology unit. The role operates ultrasound equipment and film processor to produce diagnostic images and assists the Perinatologist with genetic procedures.

Full-time, day shift, 7am-4:30pm. Requires technical school/associate degree, 2-4 years' experience, RDMS, NTQR obstetrical certification, and BLS. Enjoy comprehensive benefits and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Appropriately educated and explains procedures to patients. Modifies approach based on age, developmental level and needs of patient.
• Follows appropriate Center protocol for procedures unless specified differently by the Perinatologist.
• Produces quality diagnostic images for interpretation. Selects and prepares proper equipment and supplies.
• Operates medical imaging equipment properly and safely.
• Prepares patient for procedures providing instructions to obtain desired results, gain cooperation and minimize anxiety.
