Job summary

CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - New Braunfels is seeking a Per Diem RN to provide routine and complex nursing care in a high-acuity perinatal setting, using the nursing process from assessment to evaluation.

The role requires Texas RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE as applicable; schedule is 7 AM to 7 PM, per diem as needed; orientation and competency validation are required within timeframes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Addresses psychosocial needs of patient and families.

• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients and families.
