Job summary

CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - New Braunfels is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide pulmonary care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients under physician supervision. The role includes ventilator management, airway procedures, and CAP/JC survey participation, with shifts from 7PM to 7AM.

Requirements include RRT license in Texas, BLS, and ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications. Per diem as needed and on-site work at a 94-bed facility in New Braunfels.

Qualifications

• RT or RCP license in state of employment required
• BLS required
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC required
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of leadership competencies
• Emergency response including Code Blue/White
• Airway management including nasotracheal & endotracheal suctioning
• Ventilator management and setup
• Oxygen delivery and monitoring
• Respiratory care procedures in multiple hospital areas
• Accurate documentation and equipment maintenance
• Participate in CAP and JC surveys
• Shift Leader or Team Leader responsibilities may apply
