Job summary

Laborie in Houston seeks a Perinatal Quality Liaison to educate on perinatal quality standards, implement bundles and toolkits, and partner with clinical teams to manage relationships with health systems.

The role drives evolution of guidelines, supports data collection and evaluation, and leads quality improvement initiatives across states, collaborating with Quality leaders and healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in perinatal quality improvement or related field.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate data and develop quality initiatives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Educate, develop, and support the implementation of perinatal standards, bundles, and toolkits while serving as an expert resource related to perinatal quality standards.
• Drive the evolution of perinatal guidelines and policies by working with customers to assess current best practices and support development of policies, protocols, and standing orders.
• Provide education and guidance on perinatal quality program standards, initiatives, and PNQ data collection and evaluation to monitor progress and outcomes.
• Partner with customer organizations to advise on quality improvement efforts, engaging key stakeholders such as Quality leaders and advanced healthcare providers.
• Support data-driven quality improvement through education on evaluation methods, while actively engaging in state-level perinatal quality organizations and attending perinatal conferences within covered states.
