Job summary

The MetroHealth System's Obstetrics/Postpartum Unit 2B in Cleveland is seeking a registered nurse for the night shift to care for postpartum mothers and newborns. You will work on a 27-bed unit with rotating weekends and holidays, collaborating with PCNAs, interns, providers, and the anesthesia team.

Responsibilities include IV insertion, medication administration, and postpartum/newborn assessments, with emphasis on time management, patient education, and safe delegation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current NRP certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire
