Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
• Certified in BLS; RN license in state of employment or compact.
• STABLE, NRP and ACLS certifications encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication and care provided.
• Educate patients and families; assess learning needs and resources.
