The RN will lead and collaborate with the health care team, delegate tasks, and uphold professional practice standards.

Qualifikationen

• 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in mother/baby care or successful completion of a KP FCC training program or approved equivalent within prior 12 months.

Aufgaben

• Upholds Kaiser Permanente's Policies and Procedures, Principles of Responsibilities, and applicable laws.
• Delegates tasks appropriately and demonstrates accountability.
• Develops and coordinates the individualized plan of care reflecting assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating outcomes.
• Ensures plan includes multidisciplinary planning, consultation, and patient/family education.
• Monitors patient progress and revises care plans as needed.
• Ensures care meets standards of practice and safe discharge planning with patient/family education.
• Performs nursing responsibilities with accurate documentation and use of electronic health systems for patient care.
• Contributes to departmental performance improvement activities and professional development.
