Job summary

Natividad Medical Center (NMC) is looking for a full-time Staff Nurse III – Perinatal Nurse Educator in the Women and Children's Division. This role is responsible for assessing educational needs and provides nursing expertise. Ideal candidates must have a valid California RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications, along with two years of experience in a nursing role. This position supports various clinical areas including Labor & Delivery and Maternal Infant Unit. NMC may offer a sign-on bonus for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse license issued by the California Board of Nursing or ability to obtain prior to start.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
Two years experience as a registered nurse in a hiring unit.

Responsibilities

Assess educational needs of the Women and Children’s Division and design educational programs.
Collaborate with other healthcare providers on care issues.
Participate in performance improvement projects.
