Job summary

Hope, Love, and Dream, Inc. in Columbus, OH seeks a self-motivated Mental Health Navigator to support pregnant and parenting families. This short-term, non-clinical role reduces barriers to care, connects resources, and strengthens resilience through trauma-informed practice.

The position is hybrid (community + remote), part-time about 20-25 hours weekly, with pay $24-$32 per hour and funding contingent on program support.

Qualifications

• Experience with perinatal or family mental health is preferred.
• Trauma-informed and culturally-responsive practices are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide navigation and referral support for benefits and housing.
• Facilitate emotional support and goal-setting sessions for caregivers.
• Lead psychoeducational groups on trauma, maternal stress, and parenting challenges.
• Document client engagement and referral outcomes in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with partners to connect participants to maternal mental health peer support.
