Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corp. is seeking a Comprehensive Perinatal Health Worker (CPHW) to deliver perinatal and newborn education and one-on-one counseling under CPSP.

The CPHW will create a seamless interface among services to provide easy access for patients and will work with clinic leadership and medical staff to meet program goals. The role requires a Medical Assistant diploma, OB/GYN experience, and strong EHR skills, with bilingual English/Spanish preferred depending on the population

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited school, OB/GYN experience.
• Experience with referrals and venipuncture.
• BLS certification or higher required.

Responsibilities

• Provide perinatal and newborn education and counseling.
• Coordinate interface among CPSP services for patient access.
• Collaborate with Clinic Director, Women's Health Director, and staff to implement goals.
