Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corporation in Monrovia, CA seeks a Women’s Health Coordinator to provide perinatal education and one-on-one counseling through CPSP. The CPHW coordinates interfaces among services and acts as the clinic representative with leadership and care teams.

The role requires a Medical Assistant diploma, OB/GYN experience, venipuncture, EHR proficiency, and a preference for bilingual English/Spanish. Competitive hourly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required, Medical Assistant diploma required.
• Minimum OB/GYN experience and venipuncture training.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and certified in Basic Life Support.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred depending on patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide perinatal and newborn education and one-on-one counseling.
• Coordinate CPSP services and interface across programs for easy patient access.
• Represent the clinic with the Clinic Director, Women’s Health Director, and staff.
• Assist with referrals and maintain documentation in the EHR.
