Job summary

AltaMed Health Services in Monrovia, CA seeks a Women’s Health Coordinator to deliver perinatal education and one-on-one counseling through CPSP. The CPHW develops a seamless interface among services and represents the clinic with the Clinic Director and medical staff.

Candidates should have a Medical Assistant diploma, OB/GYN experience, EHR skills, and BLS certification; bilingual English/Spanish preferred. This is an in-person role with competitive hourly compensation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited school; OB/GYN experience of at least 1 year preferred.
• Experience with referrals and venipuncture; EHR proficiency is required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, depending on population served.
• A valid BLS certification or higher per AHA/Red Cross guidelines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide perinatal and newborn education and one-on-one counseling through CPSP.
• Coordinate a seamless interface among CPSP services for easy patient access.
• Represent the clinic in all CPSP-related matters and work with Clinic Director, Women's Health Director, Medical Providers, and Nursing staff to implement program goals.
