Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a skilled registered nurse for perinatal units including Antepartum, L&D, NST, OBED, LDRP, or LDRPN. The nurse will autonomously provide routine and complex care per treatment plans and delegate appropriately to team members. The role emphasizes clinical judgment and contingency management in critical care settings.

The position requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a valid RN license, and at least 2 years in Perinatal Services. Shift: 7PM - 7AM, Full Time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Perinatal Services setting (Antepartum, L&D, NST, OBED, LDRP, or LDRPN).
• RN license in state of employment or compact license required.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Administers medications and treatments using appropriate protocols; monitors for side-effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care given.
• Educates patients, family members and/or caregivers; identifies learning needs and resources.
