Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Sonographer to join the Maternal Fetal Medicine team for high-risk OB ultrasound exams. You will perform a variety of procedures, record images, and communicate results to the physician in a patient-centered, efficient environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
• Valid CPR certification.
• 1–3 years experience, or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Produces and records high-quality sonographic images.
• Interprets patient history for high-risk OB patients.
• Positions patients for sonographic examination.
• Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations.
• Communicates the results to the diagnosing physician.
• Performs basic fetal cardiac views as well as extended cardiac views.
• Often performs a detailed evaluation of fetal anatomy in the second trimester.
• Maintains ultrasound equipment and work area.
