Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Sonographer to join our Maternal Fetal Medicine team. The role focuses on high-risk OB ultrasound examinations and procedures, providing direct patient care in a welcoming setting for patients and families.

You will produce and record high-quality images, interpret patient history for hi-risk OB patients, position patients, perform diagnostic exams, and communicate results to the diagnosing physician while maintaining equipment and work

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
• CPR certification required; ARDMS certification in appropriate specialties.
• 1-3 years experience or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Produces and records high quality sonographic images.
• Interprets patient history for hi-risk OB patients.
• Positions patients for sonographic examination.
• Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations.
• Communicates the results to the diagnosing physician.
• Performs basic fetal cardiac views and extended cardiac views.
• Often performs detailed evaluation of fetal anatomy in the second trimester.
• Maintains ultrasound equipment and work area.
