Job summary

Penn State Health Milton Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA is seeking an RN with perianesthesia experience for a full-time night shift. The Staff Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for a designated patient group, collaborating with physicians and the care team.

This role features a 0.90 FTE schedule, a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible nurses, and a 75% tuition discount for staff and eligible dependents through the Grant-in-Aid program.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by the state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
• AHA BLS prior to end of orientation period

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for a designated patient group.
• Establish goals and priorities of nursing care and develop a written care plan including education and discharge planning.
• Document care and patient progress and collaborate with the medical staff.
