Job summary

Penn State Health Milton Hershey Medical Center is seeking an RN Staff Nurse for the Inpatient Pediatric Surgical Care Unit. The role requires assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care for a designated patient group, developing a written care plan, and documenting progress while collaborating with the medical team.

Shift is night, 7:00p–7:00a, with $5 shift differential and a 0.90 FTE schedule. Eligible hires may receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license.
• AHA BLS certification prior to end of orientation period.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned pediatric patients.
• Develop and document a written plan of nursing care including education and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and progress documentation.
