Job summary

Qualifications

Summary

Monitors and operates an array of extracorporeal and blood testing equipment during surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Educates hospital staff and visitors about the practice of perfusion. Performs as a clinical instructor for students rotating in the clinical arena (optional). Participates in non-clinical duties as agreed upon with the Chief Perfusionist. Has on call and weekend responsibilities as determined by chief perfusionist.

We offer a 4-day workweek schedule to promote work-life balance and flexibility.

Candidates with 3 or more years of experience as a Perfusionist may be eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus !

Education

Successful graduation from an American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion accredited cardiovascular training program. Maintains clinical competency as assigned by the chief perfusionist.

Salary Range

Minimum 74.29/hour - Maximum 122.60/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
