Responsible for the clinical care in Pediatric Perfusion services, monitors the clinical expertise of staff pediatric perfusionists and has fiscal and administrative responsibility for department staff. This includes managing pediatric perfusionists, providing clinical coverage to all care areas twenty-fours each day and ensuring the on-going training and education of staff. Chief is responsible for managing the annual budget and maintaining the perfusion inventory. Monitors and operates an array of extracorporeal equipment during surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Salary Range: Minimum 70.70/hour - Maximum 123.91/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
