Responsibilities

• Pre‑ and post‑operative maintenance on perfusion equipment and computation of parameters for surgery.
• Prepare heart‑lung machine and other equipment critical to the specific operation.
• Remove and discard disposables according to policies and procedures at the completion of each procedure.
• Verify the functionality of the equipment.
• Monitor the patient's status to manage blood circulation, balance hemodynamics, maintain body temperature, stabilize blood composition, and handle other monitoring devices.
• Maintain compliance standards to ensure quality controls for perioperative blood management.
• Maintain inventory, database entry, and coordinate and document equipment maintenance.
