Job summary

Bexorg, Inc. is seeking a Perfusion Technician in a hands‑on lab role in New Haven, CT. You will support Operations and R&D by executing perfusion runs, preparing solutions, troubleshooting equipment, and documenting results.

A strong emphasis on aseptic practices and accurate record keeping is required for maintaining readiness and efficiency. The role involves multi‑shift lab work and on‑site collaboration, with opportunities to contribute to bioprocess innovation in a fast‑paced setting.

Qualifications

• BS in a science field (biology, molecular biology, bioengineering, or related).
• Experience operating basic lab equipment and handling potentially hazardous substances.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and database systems.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, prime, decontaminate, and maintain perfusion devices for readiness and sterility.
• Operate and maintain basic lab equipment; perform standard assays and ensure aseptic techniques.
• Collect and record data; maintain up-to-date records and learn experiments to analyze results.
• Prepare solutions, reagents, and media; manage inventory and stock supplies weekly.
• Maintain lab computers for data entry and keep strain, reagent, and chemical lists current.
• Communicate findings effectively; support a collaborative lab environment.
• Lead laboratory and supply maintenance activities; ensure schedules are completed and signed off by management.
