Job summary

Bexorg in New Haven, CT is seeking a Perfusion Technician to maintain perfusion systems, prepare solutions, and support Operations and R&D in a fast-paced laboratory environment. You will execute perfusion runs, ensure sterility, troubleshoot equipment, and document results to ensure accurate data capture.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, ability to work on multiple shifts, and adherence to biosafety protocols in a BSL-2 setting.

Qualifications

• BS in biology, molecular biology, bioengineering, or related field.
• Experience operating lab equipment and handling potentially hazardous substances.
• Strong Excel and database skills; able to analyze data.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, prime, decontaminate, and maintain perfusion devices for ready state and sterility.
• Operate and maintain basic lab equipment; perform standard assays and aseptic techniques.
• Collect and record data; maintain accurate records and learn procedures to analyze results.
• Prepare solutions, reagents, and media per defined protocols; stock supplies weekly.
• Maintain lab computers for data entry and manage strain, reagent, and chemical lists.
