Job summary

Summit Public Schools is seeking a Performing Arts Teacher for the 2026-27 SY in California. You will guide students through project-based learning, mentor a consistent group of mentees, and collaborate with a high‑performing team to deliver Summit’s common curriculum.

Qualifications

• Teaching Credential in California or another US state.
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Clear health and background check.

Responsibilities

• Teach and manage high school or middle school classes within Summit’s Project Time structure.
• Mentor a small group of students daily to support goals and growth.
• Analyze student progress data and plan lessons accordingly.
• Collaborate with faculty in after‑school meetings and professional development.
• Deliver a rigorous, equitable education aligned to Summit’s curriculum.
