Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. in East Hartford, CT is hiring a BDC Performance Instructor to train new hires and lead department coaching in a fast-paced distribution center environment.

You will deliver formal training on best methods and equipment, uphold a culture of safety, and support special projects under DC leadership. When not training, you’ll perform standard warehouse tasks and may be considered for future advancement to Coach, with eligibility for the Performance Team Member Bonus based on

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. and work in a distribution/warehouse environment.
• Experience training others and operating power equipment (forklift, reach truck, yard truck).
• Proven safety compliance record; basic math and reading comprehension; reliable on-the-job contributions.
• Ability to work independently or with a team; basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Lead new hire training and department coaching on best methods.
• Teach safety culture and maintain a safe working environment for associates.
• Perform standard functions when not training and participate in special projects under DC leadership.
