Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a BDC Performance Instructor (PI) to serve as the primary department trainer in the DC Operations team. Responsibilities include new hire training, best methods, equipment training, and supporting development toward a future Coach role.

When not in training duties, the PI performs standard warehouse tasks and may participate in special projects, with eligibility for the Performance Team Member Bonus and a focus on safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Experience training others
• Experience operating power equipment (e.g., forklift, reach truck, yard truck)
• Proven record of complying with safety requirements
• Basic math and reading comprehension
• Demonstrated track record of reliable on-the-job contribution
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision or with a team
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office

Responsibilities

• Lead training for new hires and ongoing department training as the primary PI.
• Maintain a culture of safety and ensure a safe working environment for associates.
• Take on special projects under DC leadership and support development pathways.
• Assist in normal warehouse functions when not performing as PI, including overtime as needed.
