Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Performance Testing Engineer to design, develop, and execute load, performance, and scalability tests for enterprise applications. You will create LoadRunner scripts, run tests, and analyze results to identify bottlenecks across application, database, network, and infrastructure components.

You will translate SLAs and KPIs into measurable objectives, perform trend analysis and capacity projections, and collaborate with cloud teams (AWS/Azure) to improve reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, scalability, and endurance test plans for enterprise applications and systems.
• Utilize LoadRunner to create test scripts, execute performance tests, and analyze system behavior under varying workloads.
• Establish performance baselines and identify bottlenecks across application, infrastructure, database, network, and system.
• Analyze test results and provide actionable recommendations to improve scalability and reliability.
• Translate SLAs, KPIs, and non-functional requirements into measurable performance objectives.
• Conduct trend analysis to develop workload forecasts and capacity projections.
• Support capacity planning with performance models for future growth.
• Perform performance testing in cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Leverage monitoring tools such as AppDynamics and Splunk to diagnose issues.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, architecture, and operations teams.
