The role requires a Master’s in mechanical/aero engineering, strong Abaqus/ANSYS skills, fatigue analysis experience, and clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mechanical or aeronautical engineering or related field.
• Strong proficiency in structural FEA with nonlinear material behavior and contact modeling.

Responsibilities

• Perform FE analysis on engine core components (cylinder heads, blocks, liners, pistons).
• Execute coupled coolant CFD-heat transfer, TMF, and structural analyses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define simulation requirements for new product development and issue resolution.
• Prepare clear documentation of objectives, methods, results and conclusions.
• Interpret results and provide actionable design recommendations.
• Collaborate with engine test teams to improve simulation tools and capabilities.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and develop new methods.
