Qualifications

• Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Management or related field plus 2 years of relevant experience.
• Alternative: Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience in engine/battery, transmission/e-drivetrain and lower powertrain systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze and resolve engineering issues for engine/battery, transmission/e-drivetrain and lower powertrain systems.
• Integrate truck controls and plant models into a powertrain system model.
• Perform performance studies of the L5 power system including subsystems, engine/battery, transmission/e-drivetrain, hydraulics and thermal systems.
