Job summary

SentiLink is seeking an experienced Software/Platform Engineer to join the SRE-focused team. You will write production code, profile services, and improve reliability across critical applications.

Requirements include 7–8+ years in backend or infrastructure-adjacent roles, strong Python/Go skills, PostgreSQL expertise, and experience with Docker/Kubernetes and observability platforms. Some roles are hybrid or in-office; collaboration with US teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 7–8+ years of software development experience in backend or SRE roles.
• Proficient in Python and Go, with production code experience.
• Deep PostgreSQL knowledge, performance tuning, and query optimization.
• Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Experience with observability tools like Datadog, CloudWatch, or Prometheus.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and collaboration with distributed teams.
• Comfortable with overlapping hours for US-based coordination (IST evenings).
• Familiarity with IaC tooling (Terraform/Terragrunt) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and ship production-grade code across services.
• Analyze and fix performance bottlenecks in live systems.
• Profile APIs and services under load and optimize bottlenecks.
• Improve observability through logs, metrics, dashboards, and tracing.
• Collaborate with US-based teams and participate in incident response.
