Job summary

Saint Peter’s Healthcare System is seeking a Quality Management professional to serve as a resource to Department Chairs and Managers. You will analyze internal and external data to assess the impact of regulations and drive performance improvements across the organization.

Responsibilities include overseeing data abstraction/review, ensuring timeliness and accuracy, and coordinating programs to meet mandatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to assess and analyze health care data at patient, unit, and organizational levels.
• Must educate staff about health care policies and current practices related to data use.
• Knowledge of JCAHO, State and Federal regulations relevant to performance improvement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource to Department/Committee Chairmen and Department Managers.
• Analyze information from internal and external sources to assess impact of regulations and cost-containment on quality.
• Initiate/update programs and workgroups to meet mandatory requirements (e.g., TJC).
• Oversee Quality Project abstraction/review for timeliness and accuracy with Quality Analysts.
• Assist in performance improvement through process redesign and education.
• Participate in annual reappraisal of system Quality and Safety plan and align with strategic goals.
