Performance Facilities, part of the College of Fine Arts, managesperformance venues including Miller Concert Hall, Wiedemann Hall,DFAC Outdoor Amphitheatre, Wilner Auditorium, and WelsbacherTheatre. These spaces support music and performing arts events, aswell as campus and community group performances. The departmentalso provides technical support (audio, lighting, staging) forevents at venues like Lowe Auditorium, CAC Theater, Koch Arena, andWSU Commencement.
A student assistant will carry out administrative and technicaltasks requested by a supervisor. Depending on the area the studentassistant is employed in, they may assist and mentor other studentsor provide support throughout the campus in various forms.
High School diploma or equivalent. Enrolled in a minimum of 6credit hours at Wichita State University.

Student positions have flexible, variable hours based onavailability, event needs, and staffing. No fixed schedules areoffered, and maximum hours follow WSU policy. Immediate hire ispossible, but applicants must already have a U.S. Social Securitynumber and card.
Ability to remain in a stationary position. Ability to operate acomputer and other office equipment including but not limited tophone, printers, copiers, and calculators. Ability to communicatewith others and accurately exchange information.
