Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking experienced Supplier Manufacturing and Supplier Performance professionals in the New York area. The role focuses on evaluating supplier quality, monitoring production and delivery performance, and implementing corrective actions across multiple facilities.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on PFMEA, APQP/PPAP, SPC/Cpk experience and be comfortable with frequent domestic and international travel to supplier sites.

Qualifications

• Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, and APQP/PPAP.
• Experience with supplier qualification and development.
• Experience with corrective and preventative action and supplier quality auditing.
• Experience with SPC / Cpk.

Responsibilities

• Monitor supplier production, quality, testing, and delivery performance.
• Identify and escalate supplier and manufacturing risks.
• Support Supplier Oversight and Supplier Improvement Plans.
• Drive corrective actions and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Supplier Quality, and Program teams.
• Help ensure components are manufactured and delivered safely, correctly, and on schedule.

Job description

Relevant industry backgrounds include nuclear, power generation, aerospace & defense, oil & gas, refining, shipbuilding, automotive, heavy manufacturing, industrial equipment, fabrication, and precision machining.

Role Responsibilities

• Resources will work directly with suppliers to:
• Monitor production, quality, testing, and delivery performance
• Identify and escalation supplier and manufacturing risks
