Eligibility and Prerequisites
- Current student at Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee.
- Enrolled at least half-time in a degree, diploma, or certificate-seeking undergraduate or graduate program.
- Summer is the only semester in which a student can maintain employment without being enrolled. In this case, the student must be pre-registered for the upcoming fall semester.
- This exception does not apply to fall or spring semesters.
- Have a valid United States Social Security Number (SSN).
- Remain in “valid” Visa status as applicable.
- A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA.
- Students in their first semester can work, even though they do not have an official GPA until the completion of their first semester.
- Federal Work Study student may apply.
- In good disciplinary standing.
- Must be located in the U.S.

The Performance Division Student Assistant supports the promotion, communication, and visual documentation of Performance Division programs and events. This role is ideal for a student with strong creative skills, and experience with digital media, graphic design, and photography. The assistant will help maintain a consistent and engaging public presence across platforms while supporting day-to-day communication needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Create and schedule social media posts for various Performance Division programs and events
- Design promotional materials, including flyers, digital graphics, and other marketing assets
- Attend Performance Division events to photograph, document, and promote activities
- Edit and organize media for promotional and archival use
- Assist with program communications, including email newsletters and announcements
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Current student in good academic standing
- Experience with graphic design and visual content creation
- Proficiency with creative and/or business communication software
- Photography experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Must submit a cover letter & provide some examples of creative visual work during interview
Preferred Skills and Knowledge
- Experience managing or contributing to social media accounts
- Basic photo editing skills
Work Expectations
- Commitment of 10–15 hours per week
- Additional hours may be needed for special projects
- Some evening and/or weekend hours may be required to attend events
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Hourly Rate: Student Worker 2, $16.97/hour
