Job summary

Battelle Memorial Institute is seeking a highly motivated, full-time Performance Dietitian to support the POTFF HP program for U.S. Special Operations Command.

You will guide evidence-based nutrition plans to optimize performance and recovery for SOF personnel, while performing administrative and clinical duties in a mission-driven environment. The role requires collaboration with the HP program team, development of nutrition protocols, and documentation in military health records.

Qualifications

• Master’s level degree in Nutrition Science or related field.
• Current certification from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) as an RD and CSSD certification.
• At least three years of demonstrable experience as a Performance Dietitian with athletes or SOF personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on nutritional practices to enhance recovery and optimize performance for SOF personnel.
• Perform administrative and clinical duties within scope of practice.
• Design and implement performance nutrition programs for SOF personnel in various settings.
• Collaborate with HP program team and advise leadership on nutrition issues.
• Document care in military health records.
