The part-time, remote Performance Dietitian provides 1:1 virtual nutrition coaching for student-athletes in the IMG Academy+ program, with potential group coaching responsibilities. This role carries strong 1:1 coaching responsibility: the Performance Dietitian builds genuine relational rapport with adolescent and teen athletes, applies strong behavior-change coaching skills, and helps each athlete set realistic goals they can actually follow through on and see success with. They promote the value of ongoing nutrition support — establishing and consistently executing proven systems, and confidently recommending and selling additional coaching sessions beyond an athlete’s initial package when it serves the athlete’s goals — deliver age- and developmentally appropriate, evidence-based guidance tailored to each athlete’s unique needs and goals, and design personalized fueling plans to help them safely achieve those goals.
This position will manage a minimum caseload of 55 student athletes, each receiving coaching through 40-minute sessions, with an expectation of averaging 50 athlete sessions per month. In addition, the role includes conducting monthly 20-minute parent sessions with the parents of each student athlete. The position requires completing relevant administrative tasks such as client communication, session scheduling, note-taking, and session tracking. This role requires a flexible schedule, including availability for at least one weekend day per week for coaching, in addition to family-friendly weekday hours. Expected working hours will range from 15-20 hours per week once ramped up, with the opportunity to work up to 30 hours per week.
