Job summary

OluKai is seeking a Director of Performance Creative Strategy to own DTC and Amazon channel performance. Translate data into creative briefs and guide campaigns across UGC, product videos, static formats, and Amazon content.

You will partner with Marketing, Creative, and E‑Commerce teams in an in‑office hybrid role based in Irvine, CA, to deliver premium, data-informed creative that drives growth and ROAS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in digital marketing, performance creative strategy, or growth-oriented content development.
• Background in agency or in-house eCommerce brand environment preferred.
• Deep understanding of paid media and creative optimization on Meta, Google, YouTube, and Amazon.
• Strong proficiency in Asana, Motion, Figma and Claude.
• Proven success translating data and insights into creative briefs that drive measurable results.
• Strong knowledge of DTC metrics (AOV, CAC, ROAS, CVR, ACOS, attribution, incrementality).
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Collaborative, resourceful, and energized by fast-moving creative environments.

Responsibilities

• Translate performance data and consumer insights into clear, inspiring creative briefs.
• Lead briefing sessions with the Creative and Performance Media teams.
• Drive creative across ad types including: UGC and creator-led ads, product and lifestyle video, static and carousel formats, testimonials, and Amazon content.
• Ensure all creative maintains premium look and tone while optimizing for performance.
• Partner with eCommerce and paid media teams to evaluate creative effectiveness and iterate quickly.
• Deliver clear performance reporting and learnings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ideate new testing strategies and ensure cohesive storytelling.
