The role emphasizes collaboration with nutrition professionals to tailor meals for players and coaches, with leadership responsibilities and a focus on local, seasonal ingredients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in culinary management within athletic nutrition setting (e.g. professional sports, collegiate athletics, Olympic) preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in culinary arts, nutrition, or related field a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop recipes and menus for player, coach and staff meals with a focus on nutrient-dense foods.
• Lead culinary staff, including hiring, scheduling and performance reviews.
• Assist in culinary budgeting, menu costing, inventory tracking and invoice processing.
• Establish food handling procedures with FIFO, labeling, dating and product disposal per standards.
• Establish relationships with quality, local and sustainable ingredient vendors.
• Prepare lunches for business/administration needs during the off-season.
