Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a qualified Training Program Manager to lead local R2PC activities at a North Carolina installation. The role focuses on coordinating training, supervising contractor staff, and ensuring readiness and quality across program delivery.

Ideal candidates will have five years of experience in training facilitation, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage senior leadership. This is a full-time on-site position with responsibilities spanning program planning and QA

Responsibilities

  • Participate in CR2C and community events to integrate R2PC capabilities.
  • Act as POC for MRT Level 1 training.
  • Ensure quality control of PE certifications and progressions.
  • Conduct rehearsals for training presentations to ensure readiness to teach.
  • Prepare reports for QA/QE activities and program quality.
  • Develop annual training schedules in coordination with GTM and COR-RA for approval.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the local installation Point of Contact (POC) for the R2PC matters and lead, manage and direct contractor staff assigned to their respective R2PC.
  • Coordinate in conjunction with the GTM and local installation leadership to plan, prepare and execute training and education.
  • Participate in the local Community Ready and Resilient Council (CR2C), unit operation and training meetings, and community-based event to integrate capabilities provided by the R2PC.
  • Participate in the program and serves as the primary POC for Master Resilience Trainer (MRT) Level 1 training.
  • Ensures quality control of all PE's to include certification, continuous evaluations, PE progression to higher levels.
  • Conducts rehearsals for training presentations to ensure PEs are "ready to teach".
  • Conducts local program Quality Assurance/Quality Enhancement and provides required reports.
  • In coordination with the GTM, develops the annual training schedule at their respective installation and provides a draft training schedule to the COR-RA for approval.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Have prior experience serving in the military, or as a DOD civilian employee, or as a military dependent.
  • Be a Graduate of MRT level one (MRT training may be completed after start of employment).
  • Have a minimum of five years’ relevant experience managing, overseeing, and completing the same or similar work, such as training facilitation, and including a demonstrated knowledge of support and sustainment-related operations.
  • Able to represent the Ready and Resilient Performance Center program to senior level leadership at the installation level to include General Officers and Garrison Commanders.
  • Possess or obtain National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) Tier 1 background investigation.
  • Must be able to operate general office equipment including but not limited to computer, phones and related media and information devices on most or all workdays.
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others, both in-person, by telephone or virtually to conduct business.
  • Ability to work under time pressure and rapidly for long periods to meet deadlines.
  • Good command of the English language which includes the ability to read, write, understand, and clearly and effectively communicate the language.
  • Organized and experienced multi-tasker.
