Job summary

Elevate Renewables F7, LLC is seeking a Performance Engineering Analyst to transform SCADA, DAS, and EMS data into actionable insights for a growing BESS and BESS+Solar portfolio. You will monitor performance, quantify deviations, and collaborate with Asset Management, Engineering, and O&M partners to improve energy production and revenue.

This role emphasizes rigorous data analysis, KPI calculations (capacity factor, availability, degradation), and clear reporting.

Qualifications

Experience analyzing time-series or operational data and identifying data gaps, outliers, sensor issues, and timestamp inconsistencies.
Advanced Excel skills; working proficiency in Python or SQL.
Ability to investigate technical issues, quantify performance impacts, and communicate findings clearly.
Knowledge of solar PV or BESS operations, SCADA/DAS data, and performance concepts such as availability and degradation.

Responsibilities

Monitor portfolio performance using SCADA, DAS, BMS, EMS, telemetry, and analytics platforms.
Compare actual performance with budgets, forecasts, weather-adjusted models, and contractual requirements.
Calculate KPIs including performance ratio, availability, capacity factor, and degradation.
Investigate underperformance and quantify lost energy and revenue exposure; prioritize actions for stakeholders.
