Applied Intuition builds the software infrastructure for autonomous vehicles across passenger cars, trucking, mining, and defense. We seek a Technical Lead Manager to own the perception model end-to-end, leading the team that trains, evaluates, and ships this model for diverse vehicles worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years in ML/deep learning for perception or 3D scene understanding.
• 2+ years managing a perception team with architecture and training influence.
• Experience building production perception systems, camera-first preferred.
• Record of deploying perception models to embedded hardware under real-time constraints.
• Strong Python and C++ software engineering skills across training to onboard inference.

Responsibilities

• Own the perception model end-to-end: architecture, training, evaluation and deployment.
• Drive a camera-first perception strategy to reduce map and lidar dependencies.
• Lead training cycles, data analysis, failure investigation and fixes across geographies and road types.
• Own model performance across highway, urban, residential, ramps, and complex intersections with vehicle outcomes in mind.
• Manage lifecycle from training to quantization and deployment on embedded compute.
• Collaborate with OEM programs to translate sensor configurations and performance requirements into model design.
• Recruit, develop and lead a team of perception engineers and set high technical standards.
