Job summary

Youth Consultation Service's Sawtelle Lawnridge Program in Orange, NJ is hiring Residential Assistants to provide positive support, caring assistance and supervision for residents with developmental disabilities in a home-like setting. Join a therapeutic treatment team, work toward residents' goals, document progress and support interventions.

A high school diploma with 3 years of direct care in behavioral health or IDD is required, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 3 years of direct care experience with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities in a behavioral health or institutional setting
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Participating as a member of a therapeutic treatment team
• Becoming familiar with residents' treatment goals
• Carrying out expected interventions
